Operators

Operators are the stewards who keep EverArcade worlds online, recoverable, and independently checkable.

What operators do

Operators host world packages, run world updates, retain checkpoints, publish receipts, and coordinate recovery when a world needs to move or continue after an incident.

Why operators matter

A persistent world needs more than launch-day hosting. It needs continuity over upgrades, outages, migrations, and community growth. Operators provide the infrastructure layer that lets worlds keep their memory.

How worlds are hosted

Worlds are packaged with their rules, metadata, and operating expectations. An operator can run that package, preserve recovery material, and expose the world to players and tools.

How verification works

Verification means another participant can inspect a history window and confirm that the world continued correctly. Public messaging calls this Independent Verification; technical docs still describe replay, receipts, and recovery material.

How federation supports continuity

Federation lets operators coordinate instead of making one machine the permanent source of truth. It supports continuity by spreading operational responsibility and preserving paths for recovery.
